The Freight Company opens an office in Myanmar

Yangon, Myanmar – The Freight Company Ltd. (TFC), a leading provider in Southeast Asia of turnkey project logistics services has opened a representation in Yangon, Myanmar as of the 16th of June, 2011.

The office located in Yangon is a venture between The Freight Company Ltd. (Thailand) and Injynn Development Company Ltd., Myanmar. Established in 1994 Injynn, TFC’s local partner, provides logistics, marine and aviation services for the oil & gas Industry and is also active in the power and telecommunication business.

The Freight Company’s contact persons in Yangon are Mr. Soe Min Aung and Mr. Than Htut. Mr. Soe has a long career serving on ships as Deck Cadet, 2nd Officer, Chief Officer and Master before he entered into the logistics business. Mr. Than Htut (B.Sc., Physics), has a Certificate in Telecommunication and Logistics Management. Since 1993 he has been in various positions in the supply chain and logistics management for the Oil & Gas Industry.

TFC in Myanmar will provide turnkey logistics services focusing on oil, gas, petrochemical, power, mining, steel, cement, and infrastructure projects.
